everyone can make use of it.
Below are the instructions.
First, warm up your tv set
and tune in Channel 13.
Darken the screen to almost
Black (use the brightness
control.)
Second, turn to Channel 2
and leave the volume control
down unless you have a
broadcaster on. (Will not
work on Cable TV.)
Your tornado detector is
now in operation. As a storm
approaches, lightning will
produce momentary white
bands of varying widths
across the screen (color sets
produce a colored band). A
tornado within 13 to 20 miles
will produce a totally white
screen and remain white
(color on color sets). Should
this occur, turn on your
portable radio and go to a
place of shelter im

Over 1300 Georgians have
received help from the state

of “going to the people,”
these field investigators
have been answering
questions and handling in

policyholders throughout the
state.
“Since we began covering
the state on a regional basis,
we have eliminated the
expense of sending salesmen
out of the Atlanta office to
help Georgians with their
insurance problems,”
Caldwell stated. “In ad
dition, we are helping more
people that ever before.”
Caldwell went on to say
that the response that his
office has been receiving
shows that the efforts have
been worthwhile. “We will
continue to expand and
improve the system until we
are reaching Georgians in
the most efficient and
comprehensive manner
possible.”
