DISTRICT ATTORNEY
“CRIMINAL TRIAL EXPERIENCE IS WORTH VOTING FOR” is his slogan
for this campaign, JIM HARMON feels that experience is the real issue in the
District Attorney race. JIM HARMON feels that experience should not be
measured by number of years, but by the number of cases tried.
The voter is entitled to know the exact number of criminal cases each can
didate has tried in his career, and JIM HARMON is willing to match each can
didate for criminal trial experience, case by case!
JIM HARMON invites comparison of his criminal trial record with that of his
opponents and believes that the voter will agree that “CRIMINAL TRIAL EX
PERIENCE IS WORTH VOTING FOR”, its just that sensible, non-political, and
practical.

PERRY, GEORGIA, THURSDAY, AUG. 3, 1972
Authority, held in Warner
Robins.
The monthly meeting of
the Authority was drawing to
a rather uneventful close
when authority member
Sherrill Stafford of Cen
terville startled everyone
present by requesting Mc-
Donald to prepare a list
showing the average number
of births at the Perry and
Warner Robins Hospitals
that occur during two time
periods; between 6:00 A.M.
and 6:00 P.M., and between
6:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M.
McDonald humorously said
that he would comply with
Stafford’s request at a
subsequent meeting.
When asked why he
wanted such birth in
formation, Stafford would
only reply, “I’ve got my
reasons.” So everyone left
the meeting mystified and
intrigued. As Paul
Stalnaker, another
authority member put it,
“I’m just wondering what
his reasons are.”
