Tuesday night. Tucker had
his magic working as he
struck out the first eleven
batters he faced. He added
seven more to that total to
end the night with 18
strikeouts. John McCarty
and Daryl Parker led the
winners hitting attack
collecting 2 hits each in
three trips.
Tucker's no-hitter was
his second of the season.

excised crowd. The
Athletics pulled the game
out in the bottom of the 7th
when Charlie Askew
scored Edie Porter with
two outs in the bottom of
the 7th. The combined
pitching of Ronnie Askew
and Charlie Askew allowed
only 2 hits, while striking
out 17 Royal batters.
