To Lead Easter
Service In WR
REVEREND KEN
NETH IRVINE, of the
Dundonald Methodist
Church in Belfast, North
Ireland will be the guest
speaker for the Easter
Sunrise Service on March
26 at the Civic Center on
Watson Blvd., beginning
at 6:00 a.m. This service
will be carried live over
station WQCK AM.
Reverend Irvine who
has been in Ireland
during this time of unrest
and strife will be able to
relate to us the reality of
the living Christ ex
perienced through these
difficulties. His story will
tell of the renewal in the
church and the new
understanding of the
peoples of Ireland. There
has been a marked
reduction in incidents of
violence Christians with
a deep abiding faith in
God call it the miracle of
rebirth.

Spring Fashion Revue.
Mr and Mrs. Lulher
Mosteller spent last week
in Gainesville and
Atlanta. Mr. and Mrs,
Marlin Mosteller of
Gainesville were in an
automobile accident
Saturday Mrs. Mosteller
was taken to the Nor
Ihside Hospital, Atlanta
where she was in the
intensive care unit for
several days but has now
been moved to a private
room where she is
recuperating. Mr. and
Mrs. Mosteller and Mr.
and Mrs. Kenny Brooks
of Americus visited in
Gainesville for the
weekend.
Ferguson, a lay pastor in
his church in Ireland.
Rev. Irvine and Mr.
Ferguson will also preach
the "EASTER NEW
LIFE REVIVAL" at
First United Methodist
Church beginning on
Easter Sunday, March 26
thru Wednesday, March
29 at 7:30 p.m. each
evening.

Bahai
Begins
New Year
A new year began for
members of the Bahai
faith here on March 21.
Several Bahai's from
Kathleen, Fort Valley,
and Perry along with
many of their friends
welcomed the new year
at the home of Don and
Pam Erdman In Perry. A
buffet dinner, music, and
brief explanation of the
Bahai calendar by Dr.
Jalali of Fort Valley were
part of the festivities.
"All should rejoice
together," the sacred
Bahai Writings say of this
festival which reflects the
essential joyousness of
the Bahai Faith.
