Enjoying Fun Fair
Marie Moody poses with two young “painted warriors" during the Fun
Fair for children held at the Warner Robins Recreation Department last
Saturday. The Fun Fair, which was attended by about 300 kids, climaxed
a week of activities observing the National Week of the Young Child. Mrs.
Moody is president of the Middle Georgia Association on Young Children,
a newly organized chapter that already has 50 members. Mrs. Moody
operated the face painting booth at the fair. She said other inexpensive
exhibits were provided by the fire department, police department, health
department, and also included puppet shows and choir singing. Betty
Turner of Warner Robins was chairperson for arranging the Fun Fair.
