Aydlett: Matching
Tires Is Vital
Ever wonder why a
brand new car with brand
new tires will still have
front-end vibration? It
could be because, says
John Aydlett of John’s
Tire Service, the tires
and the wheels haven’t
been matched - either
the tires or the wheels
haven’t been “rounded.”
And -- this will surprise
you - wheels more often
are “out of round” than
tires are.
With the purchase of
two machines - the first
such acquired by an
independent tire dealer
anywhere -- John’s Tire
Service now can "match”
your tires to your wheels,
eliminating that an
noying vibration and the
too-rapid tire wear that
goes with it.
“These computerized
machines are so ac
curate,” Aydlett says
‘‘that even expensive
cars with the most sen
sitive front-end systems
built can be improved by

A nurse by profession,
Dru thought this was the
calling she had to serve
God and mankind. But
nine years ago she began
to be concerned about the
lack of effectiveness in
her own prayer life and
the prayer life of many
churches. She learned
from the scriptures how

One machine - the
Match Maker -- is an
automatic computerized
electronic wheel
balancer. The other -- the
Tire Matcher
automatically buffs the
tire in specific spots
indicated by the com
puter to bring the tire-and
- wheel assembly within
specifications. Note the
word “buff.” In the old
“tiretruing” process,”
the tires were trimmed
all across, thus cutting
the life of the tires. Match
Maker and Tire Matcher
have made cutting ob
solete. The buffing
system eliminates only
the spots causing the
vibration.
Purchase of these two
machines, at $4,500 each,
shows why John Aydlett’s
tire service stores are
“the tire specialists” in
the Crossroads area . The
price for the wheel-and
tire-assembly matched is
only $24.95.
With your tires and

weekend is SIO.OO.
John Aydlett way, you
will get a ride of the
smoothness you never
experienced before.
The system is also
quick. It takes an
average of one minute to
buff a tire to the correct
specifications. It takes
only 23 seconds to
determine if your tire
needs buffing. The wheel
balancing with the tire on
it takes only 12 seconds,
correcting both static and
dunamic unbalance to
within I/l6 of an ounce.
Here is the definition of
Tire Matching as given
by the manufacturer:
‘‘The process which
corrects any variances in
the loaded footprint of a
tire-wheel assembly and
dynamically balances the
horizontal and vertical
planes to correct for
smooth road-shake
vibrations.”
Got it? Now drive to

I think you’ll like my Nook this
week. The first two recipes, Taco
Squares and Rice-Chicken
Casserole are easy and good. For
those who like Tacos, these Taco
Squares will please, and a good
chicken casserole is always
welcome. These dishes are almost
a meal-in-one, I suggest adding
your favorite green salad.
With the holiday season so near I
thought this Easy Holiday Fruit
Cake might be welcomed by busy
mother’s and housewives. It’s
made with a Date Bread Mix but
the “magic touch” is to add V 4 cup
salad oil as this makes a mix taste
“home-made.”
And ... so we go, into the Holiday
Season.

The November
