ceremony at the
Presbyterian Church in
Rockford, Michigan on
October 20, 1979 at 6
o'clock in the evening.
The bride is the
daughter off Mr. and
Mrs. Gordon May of
Cedar Springs, Michigan.
Parents of the groom are
Mr. and Mrs. J. Hall
Schenck of Perry.
The sanctuary was
decorated with
arrangements of fall
flowers. A soft glow fell

the bride as maid of
honor. The bridesmaids
were the bride’s sisters,
Dawn and Renee May;
the groom’s sister, Susan
Berry: Laurie and Molly
Charles Culpepper;
Jeanna Bremmer,
Bobbie Jo Johnson and
Terry Goleno.
The maid of honor wore
a long gown oT bit
tersweet qiana. The
bridesmaids were
dressed alike in gowns of
rust colored qiana. They
carried a single long
stemmed beige rose.
J. Hall Schenck, Sr.
stood with his son as best
man. The groomsmen
were the groom’s
brothers Michael Swick
and Peter Schenck;
Charles Culpepper,
Robert E. Grant, Stanley
Gray, Joey McKenzie and
the bride’s brother, Kurt
May.
The bride, given in
marriage by her father,
was lovely in her bridal
gown lavishly trimmed in
chantilly lace. It was
styled with a Queen Anne
collar and shawl effect
trimmed with the same
lace. The long sleeves
ended at the wrist
trimmed in lace. Her veil
fell softly around her face
and was edged in the
same lace. She carried a
bouquet of white bridal
roses and lilies of the
valley.
For her daughter’s
wedding, Mrs. May chose
a full length gown of
burnt orange and a
corsage of tiger lilies.

Mrs. Schenck, was at-

meeting.

Modeling in Atlanta. She
is currently employed by
Perry Holiday Inn.
Her fiance is the
grandson of the late Mr.
and Mrs. A.J. Cooper, Sr.
of Dublin, apd the late
Mr. and Mrs. George E.
Clay, Sr. of Dublin. He is
a 1975 graudate of
Warner Robins High and
has recently completed
four years in the U.S.
Navy. He is currently
employed at Daniel
Construction in
Oglethorpe.
The wedding will be
held Saturday, December
22,1979 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Houston Lake Baptist
Church. All friends and
relatives are cordially
invited.

College. Miss Wilson is
employed as assistant

grandson of Mr. and Mrs.
Claude Whiddon of
Quincey, Florida and Mr.
and Mrs. Roy Cannon of
Cairo. He is a graduate of
Bainbridge High School
and attended Bainbridge
Junior College and
Macon Junior College. He
was active in the Civitan
Club at both colleges. He
is employed with his
