late Mrs. Clark all of
Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Mr. Clark is a graduate of
Muskogee High School
and is presently em
ployed by Daniel Con
struction Company.
The wedding is planned
for 4 p.m. on December
27, 1980 at the New Hope
Baptist Church in
Muskogee, Oklahoma.

PHS One-Act Gets
Superior Ratings
A one-act play per
formed by students at
Perry High School
received two superior
ratings at the CESA
Festival in Americus
Friday, Nov. 21.
The play received one
of two superior ratings
out of the eight area
schools participating in
the festival. Cast
member Donald Forbes
received a superior actor
rating.
The play, “P.S. 80.” is
by Haywood Ellis. The

Apples of Gold (Senior
Citizens) met in the
Assembly of God Church
dining room Thursday
with thirty-five members
present. They were
served a delicious
Thanksgiving dinner,
in region one-act
competition at Middle
Georgia College in
Cochran on Dec. 4.

received her bachelor of
science and master’s
degree at the Fort Valley
State College. She is
employed by the Houston
County Board of
Education as a fourth
grade teacher at Perry
Elementary School,
Perry, Georgia.
The groom-elect is the
grandson of Mrs. Hattie
Maude Radford of
Warner Robins, and the
late Mr. Zeb Radford of
Elko, and the late Mrs.
Minnie Ford. He is a
graduate of Houston High
and is employed by Pabst
Brewing Company,
Perry, Ga.

Eddie Braswell, pastor of
Grovania and Elko
Methodist Churches
brought a very in
teresting message. A
drawing for a turkey was
next on the program and
Mrs. Kathrine McClintic
had the lucky number.
Mrs. Laverne McKinney
had given out 25 dolls
from the Bank of Perry to
the senior citizens to be
dressed and brought to
this meeting to be judged.
Winners for best dressed
dolls were: First place,
Mrs. Hazel Huff, second
place, Mrs, Frances Ellis
and third place Mrs.
Kathrine McClintic.
Judging the dolls, were
Mrs. Ruth Moss, Mrs.
Bertha Montgomery,
Mrs. Mary Joiner and
Mrs. Judy Eberhart.
"Apples of Gold" will
meet in the First Baptist
Church of Hayneville,
December 18.

conclusion. Minutes of
previous meeting were
read and approved and
Mrs. McGee gave a good
treasurer’s report.

county Homemaker
Agent, brought a
demonstration on lovely
Christmas ornaments
and decorations.
Mrs. Davidson served a
salad plate and Russian
tea during the social hour.
The Christmas party
will be on Dec. 18 at 2
