boys they mean a lot, because they
are trying to play the game the
right way and make you the parents
and fans proud of them, just like all
the players at Ochlahatchcc Park.
So congratulations, not only to
these boys, but all of the baseball
players at Ochlahatchcc Park, that
arc helping to make the game of
baseball the great game it is.
Who knows, someday we may
be reading or writing about them in
the major leagues and we can re

pleasure, and the guidance from
many dedicated coaches of the ju
nior leagues who helped them to
get that start the right way.

In Ochlalchee action Saturday
afternoon the Exchange Club took
on the Georgia Federal Pec Wee
team in a make up game. If you
went to the game as a spectator,
you needed an umbrella and some
sun screen lotion.
The temperature was in the 90’s
and as the game got under way
around 12:30 p.m., the fans started
to sweat about as much as the
players on the field.
The Exchange team had a little
trouble coming up with anything to
pul on the scoreboard and was un
able in the first do any damage be
cause of the excellent defense by
Georgia Federal boys.
When the Feds finally got their
turn at bat, they took advantage of
the situation and started pulling
runs on their side of the scoreboard
like an adding machine running on
high test.

outstanding defense, and neither one
of them were able to gel anything
to count towards a win in the in

After two complete innings of
play under the hot sun, the score
remained Georgia Federal 4 and Ex

In the third inning the Feds did
their most damage as Georgia Fed
eral scored 8 runs with two outs to
bring their lead to 12 100.
Changes in the score were made
in the fourth inning to the advan

but not before the Exchange boys
team put 4 runs in their scorcbook.
By the time the fourth inning
came to an end, the Feds were lead

victory. Because of the super dc

team, the Feds held onto their leac
and won the game by the score ol
16 to 4.
