disappeared and we have had no trace of her. We have
searched the neighborhood and surrounding area around
Perry High School. This past week has been a nightmare
and an emotional rollercoaster for me my children. My 2
1/2 year old son prays to Jesus to keep his cat safe and
bring her home to us. My 6 year old daughter cries herself
to sleep every night.
I feel like someone has probably taken her in thinking
that she doesn't have a home. Our cat's name is Sabrina
and she comes from a very loving home. She is declawed
and without a collar.
I pray that one of your readers has found our cat and is
caring for her will read this letter. Please help my son's
prayer to be answered. Anyone with any information about
our cat call 987-5812.
Thank you for sharing this letter with your readers.

In Worrall's absence, Mayor Pro
Tern Hervia Ingram has undertaken
the official duties of the city.
"I hope Mayor Worrall will be
back soon. I hope to do a good job
performing the mayor’s official du
ties in his absence. It will be good
if all of our prayers will be sent up
for him,” Ingram said.
If the mayor decides he can no
longer perform his duties, a special
election would be held. The last
time Perry had a special mayoral
election was following the resigna
tion of James McKinley prior to
the expiration of his term.
. Frances Worrall said the response
from well-wishers has been
tremendous.

He also said he's relieved to know
Tom Daniel, attorney for Northside

further develop a plan to alleviate
unnecessary scares."
Daniel said, "I love to see people
come together and talk about every

He said he's not sure how long
negotiations will continue, but "We
will eventually meet an agreement."
The commission decided to hold
another meeting to hear more con

posals of change. Since the meet
ing was unplanned, some of the
commission members were unable
to attend as were other concerned ci

Bill Chambless, Perry building
inspector, said he plans to have the
RDC at the meeting next Monday
to help with redefining the codes.

"Last year we donated the pigs
that raced at the Georgia National

another unit stop by and deliver the
pigs at.the end of their racing

Part of the Worralls optimism is
based on doctors' assurances that the
mayor is in great health. Doctors

If it can be done, he'll do it," Wor

Ziegler thanks city for
decorating downtown
Dear Editor:
As chairman of Perry Beautification Commission, 1 want
to express the appreciation of our commission and of our
entire community to city officials who worked diligently to
decorate our downtown section for our parade Oct. 10.
In the past, Perry Beautification Commission has been
responsible for getting cornstalks to use in decorating posts
on downtown streets. This year when inclement weather
and other conditions made it impossible for us to get suit
able cornstalks, the following individuals and their work
crews provided valuable assistance in using decorative
bales of hay topped with colorful pumpkins: Marion Hay,
Ben Hamrick, Hugh Sharpe and Benny Redmon.
This is a fine example of willing and able helping hands
which are extended in time of need.
Sincerely,
Jo Dickson Ziegler
Chairman, Beautification Commission
