Stocking stutters for the family
One tradition many families have
is that of hanging stockings on the
mantel to be stuffed with goodies.
If you are responsible for stuffing
stockings, this is where you can let
your creative juices go to work.
Unique gifts especially selected for
each individual will certainly be
symbolic of your love for that per
son.
When shopping, keep your eyes
open for those special little items
that mean a lot to a person. Unique
gift shops, bookstores, sporting
goods stores, art shops, craft shops,
discount shops, and the comer drug
store arc all good places to look.
For a sportsman, consider a sub
scription to a certain magazine,
fishing lures, hunting equipment
and a small pocket knife. You
might top if off with a new cap!
For the sports fan, you can do
much. Please the golfer with the
golf items such as tics, socks, balls
and towels. Think of the possibili
ties for the bikers and runners.

For the gourmet cook, consider
various kitchen gadgets, gourmet
coffees and mugs, pretty kitchen
towels, recipe cards and food labels.
Prepare a "bulldog" stocking for a
Georgia fan. Fill the stocking with
a T-shirt, buttons, pens, keyring,
stickers and cap.
Please the collector with a stock
ing packed with ornaments, minia
tures or a special paperback. The
baseball card collector would enjoy
packs of cards, plastic holders for
cards and even that special card
they've been searching for.
A gardener's stocking-stuff it
with gloves, packs of seeds, small
gardening tools and a personalized
sign.
Delight Grandmother - stuff her
stocking with picture frames com
plete with grandchildren in pictures,
a subscription to her favorite
magazine, note cards and stamps,
and concert tickets for a special
evening.
Take time to enjoy stocking
stuffing. As you select items for
each family member, take time to
reminisce about the good times.
