TRANSPORTATION TO HOLD
PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING
The Georgia Department of
Transportation will hold informal public
information meetings this December to
solicit input in the designation of
Georgia's portion of a proposed National
highway System required by new federal
transportation legislation A meeting will
be held on December 16, 1992, from
6:00 p.m. to 900 p.m in the
Department's Thomaston District Office
Assembly Room located at 715 Andrews
Drive, Thomaston, Georgia in Upson
County.
Map displays and comment cards will
be available at the meeting, and State
Department of Transportation
representatives will be on hand to
answer questions and to receive
comments anytime between 6:00 p m
and 9:00 p m If you are unable to attend
this meeting in Thomaston there will be
informational materials available during
the month of December, 1992, in the
Thomaston District Officer and Area
Engineer offices The Area engineer

of Commissioners of Bibb County,

concerning the proposed location of a
municipal solid waste landfill on Davis
Road in East Bibb County All affected
residents, landowners in the area and
interested citizens are encouraged to

Library, located at East Church Street,

Public Library Board of Trustees,

The Furniture, Furnishings, and
Equipment specified are identified by
construction standards which stipulate
the quality, style, and finish(es)
required; and, whenever possible, are
identified by model number of two (2) or
more acceptable manufacturers.
Alternate items by other manufacturers
of Furniture, Furnishings and Equipment
which are equal to the quality and
designs specified shall be considered.
For aooroval of alternate items the
Bidder must promptly make a written
request for consideration Such
requests must be received bv the
Designer no later than fifteen (15) days
preceding the bid opening date.
Following evaluation, if the alternate
item is approved, an addendum to the
contract document shall be issued
Such addenda shall be issued no later
than seven (7) calendar days preceding
the bid opening date. It is the intent of
this specification both to promote fair
and competitive bidding, and to insure
that the contract be awarded for
Furniture, Furnishings, and Equipment
which achieve an integrated building
design. With regard to this intent, items
equal to those items specified shall be
considered.
Bidding documents may be obtained
upon payment of a non-refundable
deposit of $75.00 per set, with check
made payable to Wheat Interior Design
Associates. Bidding documents may be
obtained from 9:00 A M to 5:00 P.M. at

Proposals shall be submitted on
proposal forms issued by the Houston
County Public Library Board of
Trustees. Submission of bid proposals
shall be accompanied by a bid security
in the amount of not less than five
percent (5%) of the total bid proposal,
including all add alternates. A bid bond,
certified check, or cashiers check shall
be acceptable as bid security. No other
form of proposal guaranty shall be
accepted. Bid security shall be made
payable to the Owner, and properly
executed by the Bidder and by qualified
Surety. Each signature shall be an
original signature. Stamped or facsimile
signatures shall not be accepted.
Telegraphic or facsimile bonds shall not
be accepted. The Bid Security shall
certify that the submitted proposal is
offered for acceptance for a period of
sixty (60) days from the date of the

No oral, telegraphed, telephone, or
facsimile modification of the proposal
will be considered. Prior to signing the
award contract(s), the Successful
Bidder(s) shall pay the premium for and
furnish a performance bond and a
payment bond, each in the full amount of
the contract award(s). Each bond
signature on each bond shall be an
original signature. Stamped or facsimile
signatures shall not be accepted.
Telegraphic or facsimile bonds shall not
be accepted.
The Owner reserves the right to
accept or reject any and all bids; to take
additiv j alternates in the published
sequence, based upon the availability of
funds; to make any/all bid award(s)
based upon the availability of funds; to
waive technical errors and any
informality in bids when such waiver is
deemed by the Owner to be in his best
interest, and to readvertise for bids. The
Owner reserves the right in making the
award to increase the quantity of items
specified. The Owner reserves the right
to award bids by section total, or by
lump sum; and to accept any bid which
appears to be in the Owner's best
interest; but preference is hereby
indicated for a single contract award.
The determination of the Owner in
making the contract award(s) shall be
considered final.

indebtedness secured by a deed to
secure debt executed by Eat Out, Inc.
to Trust Company Bank of Middle
Georgia, N.A., dated August 2, 1990
and recorded in Deed Book 688, pages
525-526, Clerk's Office, Houston
Superior Court, the undersigned, Trust
Company Bank of Middle Georgia, N.A.,
pursuant to the power of sale contained
in said security deed, will, on the first
Tuesday in January, 1993, during the
legal hours of sale, at the courthouse
door in Perry, Houston County, Georgia,
sell at public outcry to the highest and
best bidder for cash the property
described in said deed, to-wit:
All that tract or parcel of land situate,
lying and being in Land Lot 314 of the
13th District of Houston County,
Georgia, located in the City of Perry,
Georgia, and containing 0.474 acres
and being more particularly shown on a
plat of survey prepared by Richard L.
Jones, Land Surveyor, said plat of
survey dated October 31, 1989 and

Said plat of survey and the recorded
