Kings Chapel students

Students, teachers and staff at

Americans last week in honor of
Black History Week.

students now understand how much

they've helped chart the course of
society's future.

throughout the school depicting the
themes each class studied. The
themes studied were the following:
kindergarten and fourth grade
entertainers; first grade-inventors;
second grade-athletes; third grade

grade, focus and special education
educators and scientists.
Activities were developed and
centered around each theme. The
walls, classrooms and cafeteria
stage were culturally decorated. The
stage featured works of Black
Americans.
Culminating activities included
an assembly program held by
Minerva Amoah from Ghana, East
Africa. She presented paraphernalia
