PHS holds planning session in Jan.
A meeting last month at Perry
High School yielded positive re
sults say school officials who are
encouraged by the attendance and
progress of parents of ninth graders.
On Jan. 19-20, parents were in
vited to the school to confer with
their children's advisors and to
schedule future courses and plans of
study. In most cases, students ac
companied their parents. One said,
"Now I better understand what my
child is taking, and I realize the
added importance of each assign
ment, especially after seeing the en
tire four years put down on paper,"
commented a parent
Approximately 52 percent of all
parents attended, prompting Mrs.
Leigh Giles, counselor, to add,
"Parents were very receptive and felt
the sessions to be very informa
tive. The effort gave parents and
students some added direction and a
visual representation of what is ex
pected over the next three years.

ocular surgery - including Radial Keratotomy and
Cataract procedures - all performed by ophthalmolo

need for glasses or contact lenses. You may be a
candidate for this proven surgical procedure.
