OF
OUR BUSINESS
Is good value—our platform, the best and biggest money’s worth
that we can possibly give. It is bfecause of this that our business is

growing sp last and thriving so greatly. And, furthermore, because
of the fact that in all lines we carry a really satisfactory variety—not
small, swimpy assortments, but a good big range of style and kind,
such as is not usually seen outside of large city stores. The advan
tages of trading here instead of elsewhere are very real and tangible.
If you have not been in the habit of buying here ask someone who
is. We are not afraid of the answer.

All Should Close at 7 p. m.
Early in the spring- most of the mer
chants signed an agreement to close
their stores at 7 o’clock p. m., Satur
day’s excepted. All close except a few,
and as these work a hardship upon
their clerks that the other stores do
not, we hope they will fall in line and
give their clerks the little rest they
would thereby get, which they are so
much entitled to.
A Friend to the Clerks.
