For the past year or so my business has grown to such an extent thkt I have been forced to
look around for a larger house in which to run business. I have at last succeeded in getting
one—the large store rooms
The ones occupied at present by J. H. Hunt’s Bank, G. S, Johnson’s Furniture store, and
Martin & Hunt’s Bnggy and Wagon warehouse. All of these rooms will be thrown into one
large store room and fi xed up in the latest up-to-date style. This building will not be ready
foj: rpie before the first day of September, and between now and that time I propose to sell out
all, or most of my present stock of goods; I wish to do this in order to save the expense of
moving, and at the same time enable me to buy hew, fresh goods for my new store. I know, to
to get rid of goods fast at this season oi the year, I will have to cut prices, and cut them deep.
This I will do. I propose to put prices down to make the goods go, whether they are needed or
not,. There hav enever been siich values seen in Gainesville as will be offered in my' store for
the next thirty days. The goods must be sold, and if low prices have anything to do with the
sale of them they will go; For instance, I have in *
My, Clothing
30 or 40 Suits which sold at $3.00, $4.00 and $3.00,
these will all be put down to.. ..... -V * $3.85.
Another larger lot, 75 to 100 Suits, worth $6.50 to
$7.50 and $8.50, all to go at............$5.00.
Remember, these goods wilj be sold regardless
of cost, for there is not a suit ip the above $5.00 •
- lot that cost less than $5.00, and from that to
$8.00. Among them is about 25 all wool Glay
Worsteds, never sold ip any store for less than
$8.00. You get them aslopg as they last for $5.00.
Still another Big lot to he sacrificed. The $10.00,
$12.50 and $15.00 suits will be closed in this sale
at...... ...;. $7.50 to $10.00.
• * • .
A big lot of Children 5 s and Boy’s Suits to go—too
many to mention all here. One lot Children’s,
worth 75c. to $1.00, will go at ............ 35 to 60c.
