Will Celebrate at Prlcu.
There will be a Sunday school cele
bration at Price school house. Saturday
before the fourth Sunday in August.
Five schools will be present, and Rev.
T. L. Robinson, Mr. H. V. Johnson and
Col^B. G. Parks will make addresses.

A Masquerade Party.
A most delightful event was the
masquerade party given at the beauti
ful residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. M.
Oliver on Green street, Friday evening,
the 26th ult. Eleven couples were
present and enjoyed the evening * in
every sense of the word.

tertained Thursday evening at the resi
dence of Col. and Mrs. W. I. Hobbs oh

daughter, Y Miss Winnie. The young
people were amused in various ways
until a late hour,* when delicious re
freshments were served. The enter
tainment was highly enjoyable and the
guests departed delighted with the

hands of their host and hostess.

of this city, and Miss Daisy Smith, erf
Atlanta, was solemnized last Sunday
morning at 10 o’clock at tlift residence
of Mrs. Robert Mdnigomery,Rev. A. A.
Tilly officiating. Miss Smith was on a
visit to this city, and the marriage was
somewhat of a surprise to her Mends.
Mr. Wright is a voting man with
