ville Wednesday Sept-25.
Antioch Camp-meeting .
Commences Thursday night Sept 19th,
and closes Tuesday morning Sept.
24th. Revs. Wallace Rogers, A. M.
Pierce and W. T. Hunnicutt have prom
ised to attend. They are expected to
be present through the entire meeting.
Other ministers may be present. A
great spiritual feast is expected.
Christians will work and pray to that
end. -

The Mankato, Minn., Daily Review
says:
“Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Pfeffer, the ge
nial, courteous and accommodating
agent for the American Express Com
pany in this city will depart tomorrow
on a very pleasant trip planned. They
will go to Chicago first and spend a
week at Mr. Pfeffer’s home near the
city. From there they will go to Mem
phis and Chattanooga, visiting friends
in both places, and then . go to Gaines
ville, Ga., Mrs. Pfeffer’s home, where
they will stay two weeks. Mr. and
A^s. Pfeffer expect to be gone about
thirty days and while en route home
they will stop again at the former’s
home home near Chicago.”.
They are now in the city visiting the
family of Dr. A. L. Nance.

ticket, a rate of one cent per mile

Brenau To Op4n.
The fall term of Brenau college will
open next Wednesday and Prof. Van
Hoose states that prospects are very
good. It is believed that many more
girls will he here than ever entered
the college before. About all the mem
bers of the faculty are back after their
summer vacation and everything poinst
to an auspicious opening next Wednes
day.
Price Stock Sold.
The stock of gocNcls of Geo. G. Price,
bankrupt, was sold by Receiver S. C.
Dunlap Jr., Tuesday morning and was
purchased by Johnson Bros. & Waters
for 60 M cents on the dollar. The goods
indentified by J. J* & J, E. Maddox and
W. D. Tidwell were bought by Dean
and Hobbs at 75 cents on the dollar:
The fixtures all sold for a fairly good
price and were purchased by various
parties. The sale was confirmed Wed-
nesday morning.

at Cox College, College Park; Miss Win
nie Hobbs, Wesleyan, Macon. These
girls are sure to reflect credit upon
themselves and the pretty little city
from which they hail.

Miss Winbura Married.
Mr. W. R. Winburn received a cable
gram from Havana, Cuba, last Satur
day afternoon from his daughter, Miss
Lula, stating that she arrived safely
Saturday morning and had been mar
ried to Mr. J. C. Parker. The groom
had already provided a home for his
bride, and they at once went to house
keeping.
