Mr. John Martin now has one of

this country. It is the western
style pen and was built to suit his
wants exactly.
:Mr. Clarence Allen’s friends are
glad to see him out after being
quarantined for sometime on ac
count of the illness of three of his
children with scarl'et fever. They
are now about well and suffered
little injury from their attack. j

The James Boys.
Among the attractions billed for
Hunt’s Opera House is “The James
Boys In Missouri,” which will be here I
for one night only—mext Tuesday-,' Oc
tober 22. This company is recongni zed
as one of the best on the road aud has
been playing to “standing room only” j
houses all over the eountry. The play
is a realistic presentation of the deeds |
of the James Boys from the beginning
of their career during the civil war un
til Jesse James, the pleader, was cow-
ardiyshot by Bob Ford, a former mem
ber of the band, who was visiting him
under pretense of a friend.
The play is most realistic in every
detail, especially the famous Blue Cut
train robbery, which is given with all
the scenic effects in the third act.

Special Police At Brenau.
J. L. Jenkins has been appointed
special policeman on the grounds of
Brenau association. He is paid by the
college, but all cases made by him
