Ten Millions University Extension.
Chicago, D*5. 9.—A dispatch
to the Record-Herald from Wash
ington says:
“Andrew Carnegie is to give ten
millions to the cause of universi
ty extension ip the United States;”
The announcement of this gift
ter education will be made at the
White House on Tuesday.
Mr. Carnegie was in Washing
ton a few days ago and .took
luncheon with the president when

discussed.
