have a Christmas supper at the court
house next Tuesday evening. For
eleven years shis school has had a sup-
pgr during Christmas, and each onehas
been’ a success. Besides bringing to
gether the teachers, pupils an^ their
friends for a pleasant evening, there is
usually enough food left to distribute
among the poor, to help make their

Muncie, Ind., Dec. 19.—William
Thompson, residing in Avondale,
a suburb, of this city was arrested
this monaing. He was brought
to police court, where no charge
could be found to fit his case. The
police-claim that Thompson has
two wives with whom he is living
in one house.
The Thompsons came from Utah,
it is said, and the two wives have
been living in perfect harmony
for years. It is also claimed . that
Thompson has children by both
wives. The police were unable to
cope with the case, and the man
was sent home, and told to take
care of his double family until
warmer weather, when the case
