Mr. Abner D. McMillan and Miss Maggie May Norwood of Atlanta, were married here by Judge A. G. Dor sey Wednesday afternoon. It was a runaway match. The five months old infant of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Boyd died Monday afternoon and was buried Tuesday at Alta Vista cemetery, Rev. W. F. Quil- lian officiating. Mr. John R. Brown left, yesterday for Charlotte with his new fall sam ples of shoes and will at once start out in his territory taking orders for In- man, 8mith & Co. Mr. J.G. Hynds, general manager of Inman, Smith & Co.’s shoe factory left Wednesday for Texas, accompanied by his son, George.
