Dr. Bailey Favors Bond Issue.

Bailey this week, “that I am in fayor
of the bond issue to be voted upon the

Mr. H. W. Merck Dead.
Jtfr. H. W. Merck died yesterdav
morning at,, his home near. Wood’s mill
of paralysis. He was about 45 years Of .
age and is survived bv his wife and sev
eral children. His funeral will be con
ducted' by Rev. JVC, Otweli at 9 o’clock
this ’morning, aud his remains will be
interred at Sardis by the Odd Fellows.
