Gov. Caudler has receieveed an
urgent appeal from a person in
Bryan county in which the request
is made for at least five months’
provisions for about 400 poor peo
ple in the county, who were suffer
ers at the hands of the blizzard
that extended all over the state.
The request is a modest one, com
pared with some that have come
in from other portious of Georgia
in the last two weeks, but the Gov
ernor is powerless to assist such
cases, and can only refer the ap
plicants to the authorities of the
county in which they live. It is
the belief of the Governor that
aeverel of the appeals are reallv
from needy persons who have lost
entirely their early crop of vege
tables and have little else to lean
on for support. It is also true
that others have taken advantage
of the blizzard’s passage to attempt
to bunko the state, iu preference

To Purify the 8100 if j
there is no medicine equal to Dr. Ayer’s Sarsaparilla. It not only cleanses the blood, but
revitalizes it. It puts a spring into the step and a sparkle into the eye that mean health. It
restores the lost appetite, induces refreshing sleep, and reduces the liability to disease by changing
the conditions essential to the development of disease germs.
Always Ask for Ayer’s.
«< As a spring medicine during the months of March, April, and May I know of no other preparation that can begin to
compare with Ayer’* Sarsaparilla. It is the leader of leaders.” W. A. WEISER, M.D., Bourbon, Ind.

medicine.” ISAAC S. SPARKS, Patsey, Ky.
“ I have used Ayer’s Sarsaparilla in my family for years, and highly recommend it. As a spring medicine, it has no equal.”
A. B. NICHOLS, Ellery Street, Cambridge, Mass.
“Ayer’s Sarsaparilla has been a household companion in our family for years. I take it every spring, beginning in April.
It tones up my system, gives me an excellent appetite, and makes me sleep like a top. As a blood medicine, it has no superior in
my opinion.” H. R. YVILDEY, Philadelphia, Pa.
“ Ayer's Sarsaparilla is without an equal as a blood purifier and spring medicine, and cannot have praise enough. I have
watched its effects in chronic cases, where other treatment was of no avail, and have been astonished at the results. No other blood
medicine that I have ever used, and I have tried them all, is so thorough in its action, and effects so many permanent cures as
Ayer’s Sarsaparilla.” £>*• H. F. MERRILL, Augusta, Me.

The kidneys are responsible for more
sickness, suffering, and deaths than
any other organs of the body.
A majority of the ills afflicting peo
ple today is traceable to kidney troub
le. It prevades all classes of society,
in all climates, regardless of age, sex or
condition.
The symptoms of kidney trouble are
unmistakable, such as rheumatism,
neuralgia, sleeplessness, pain or dull
ache in the back, a desire to urinate
often day or night, profuse or scanty
supply.
Uric acid, or brick-dust deposit in
urine are signs of clogged kidneys,
causing poisoned and germ-tilled
blood. Sometimes the heart acts bad
ly, and tube casts (wasting of the kid
neys) are found in the urine, which if
neglected will result in Bright’s Dis

All these symptoms and conditions
