Some of the friends of H oi.
Joseph H. Felker are urging him
to offer for Congress in this dis
trict, and some are urging him toj
ran for Solicitor-general of this
circuit, while others want nim to
be State Senator. Mr. Felker has
served three terms as County So
licitor under Colquitt, Gordon
and Northen, and this is his sec
ond term in the House. As he is
friendly to Mr. Livingston and
Solicitor-General Brand, it is be
lieved that he will not antagonize
either, but will run for the Demo
cratic nomination in the twenty
seventh senatorial district. It will
be Walton’s time next year, and if
Mr. Felker offers he will probably
have no opposition. In the last
two primaries he led everything,
and is stronger now than ever,
He would make the district a
splendid Senator. —Monroe cor.

Out in Kansas
lives t happy wife. She writes: “ I
hare used Mother's Friend before
two confinements. The last time I had
twins, and was in labor only a few min
utes. Suffered very tittle.” The reason
why
Mother’s Friend
does expectant mothers so much
good is because it is an external liniment,
to be applied upon the outside, where
much of the strain comes. It helps be
cause tbe pores of the skin readily absorb
it, and it comes into direct contact with
and is absorbed by the parts involved.
Morning sickness is quickly banished,
and nervousness is kept completely away.
The sense of dread and foreboding it not
experienced, even during labor itself.
Confinement is short and almost without
pain. Recovery is quick and sure. Best
of all, Mother’s Friend benefits the
unborn just as much as the expectant
mother, and when the little one cornea It
will be strong, lusty and healthy.

Winder, Ga., July 20, ’99.
This certifies that my wife has
been afflicted for a piriod of 18
years, at times in bed for 8 or 4
months. I decided to employ Dr.
Edward Banks, of Bowman, Ga.,

wonderfully relieved. I cheerfully
recommend Dr. Banks to all af

and see for yourself.
