AYER’S
Hair Vigor
restores, with the gloss ami freshness of
youth, faded or gray hair to a natural, rich
l»ro«rn color, or deep black, as may be desired.
Hy its use light or red hair may K> darkened,
tain hair thickened, aud bakine** often,
though not always, cured.
It checks falling of the hair, and stimu
lates a weak and sickly growth t vigor. It
prevents and cures scurf and dA mi ruff, and
heals nearly every disease peculiar to the
scalp. As a Ladles' llair Pressing, the
Vigor is unequalled; it contains neither oil
nor dye, renders the hair soft, glossy, and
silken in appearance, and imparts a delicate,
agreeable, aud lasting perfume.
Mu. C. P. Blue her writes from Kirby, 0..
J i v 3, I** 2 : “ Last tali my hair commenced
failing out, ami in a short time I liecatne
nearly bald. 1 used parr of a !>ott!e of
Avkr’s Hair Vigor, which slopped the fall
ing of the hair, and started a now growth. 1
have now a full head of hair growing vigor
ously. and am convinced that but for the
use of your preparation 1 should have been
entirely bald.”
.T. W. Bowen, proprietor of the McArthur
{Ohio) Enquirer, says : “ AYf.r’s Hair Vigor
is a most excellent preparation for the hair.
I speak of it from my own experience. Jis
use promotes the growth of new hair, and
makes it glossy ana soft. The Vigor is also
a sure cure for dandruff. Not within my
knowledge has the preparation ever failed
to give entire satisfaction."
Mr. Avoirs Fairbairn, leader of the
celebrated "Fairbairn Family" of Scottish
Vocalists, writes from Boston, Mass.. Feb. 6,
1880: " Ever since my hair began to give sil
very evidence of the change which fleeting
time procuretli, I have used Ayer’s Hair
Vigor, and so have been able to maintain
an appearance of youthfulness — a matter of
considerable consequence to ministers, ora
tors. actors, and in fact every one who lives
in the eyes of the public."
Mrs. O. A. Prescott, writing from 18 Elm
St., Charlestown, Mats., April 14, 1882, says :
" Two years ago about two-tldrds of my hair
came off. It thinned very rapidly, and 1 was
fast gi owing bald. On using Ayer’s Hair
V IGOR the railing stopped and a new growth
commenced, and in about a month my head
was completely covered with short Lair. It
has continued to grow, and is now as good a*
before it fell. I regularly used but one bottle
of the Vigor, but now use it occasionally as
u dressing.”
We have hundreds of similar testimonials
to the efficacy of Ayer’s Hair Vigor. It
needs but atrial to convince the most skepti
cal of its value.

HAIR RENEWER
was the first preparation perfectly adapted to
cure diseases of the scalp, and the first sue
cessful restorer of faded or gray hair to its
natural color, growth, and youthful beauty.
It has had many imitators, but none have so
fully mot all the requirements needful for
the proper treatment of the hair and scalp.
Hall's Hair Kenewer has steadily grown
in favor, and spread it* fame and usefulness
to every quarter of the globe. Its unparal
leled success can be attributed to but one
cause: the entire fulfilment of its promises.
The have often been surprised
at the receipt of orders front remote coun
tries, where they had never made au effort for
its introduction.
The use for a short time of If all’s Hair
It knew er wonderfully improves the per
sonal appearance. It cleanses the scalp from
all impurities, cures all humors, fever, ami
dryness, and thus prevents baldness. It
stimulates the weakened glands, and enables
them to push forward a new and vigorous
growth. The effects of this article are not
transient, like those of alcoholic prepara
tions, hut remain a long time, which makes
its use a matter of ccoromy.

One of the old mistakes of the

Perhaps that seems a higlt price
fur it, considering how poor your
blood is, and how your whole sys

enfeebled. People have been heard
to say, under such circumstances,
that they would not give the toss
of a copper for the choice between
life and death. But when it comes
to actually drawing near the grave,
a man naturally draws back, and
says he does no* ant to die. Life
is very precious, even to a bro
ken-down man it is worth saving,
One dollar will buy a bottle of
Broun Iron Bitters. That one
dollar may start you on the road
from misery to recover'', A man
must take a very mean view of
himself who is not willing to invest
that much in making one serious
effort to rescue himself from deadly
