was enjoyed, aud appreciated, but,
suffice it to say (hat every body
went away feeling that it was
good to be there, and ihe clean

of the ricripiural Narrtiie of the

baskets full of the fragments
taken up. At half after oue P. M,
the house was again called to
order. The oppoiuted Master of

Warren Leland,
whom everybody know# as the ninudui
manager of the

of America, says that while a passenger from
New York on board a ship going aroupd < .•!*»
Horn, in the early days of emigration to Cal
ifornia, he learned that o»e of the officers of
the vessel had cured himself, during the voy
age, of an obstinate disease by the use of
Ayers Sarsaparilla.
Since then Mr. Leland has recoin mended
Avrr’s Sarsaparilla in many similar
cases, and lie has never yet heard ol its fail
ure to effect a radical cure.
Some years ago one of Mr. LELAND’B farm
laborers bruised his leg. Owing to the bao
state of his blood, an ugly scrofulous swelling
or lump appeared on the injured limb. Hor*
lible itching of the skin, with burning and
larting pains through the lump, made life
Llmost intolerable. The leg became enor
mously enlarged, and running ulcers formed,
discharging great quantities of extremely
offensive matter. No treatment was of any
avail until ti e man, by Mr. Leland’s direc
tion, was supplied with Ayer’s Sarsapa
rilla, w hich allayed the pain and irritation,
healed the sores, removed the swelling, and
completely restored the limb to use,
Mr. Leland has personally used
Ayers Sarsaparilla

after careful observation, declares that, in
his belief, there is no medicine in the world
