"THIEF ARRESTED.
' Sherifft Woodard of Waycross
phoned Marshal J. D. Moore here
Monday afternocn that a horse and
buggy belonging to a dentist at lo
merville had been stolen the night
Dbefore and had left Waycross com
ing this way.
Mr. Moore immediately put out
hailiffs in the different section where
he would Dbe liable to pass.
Mr Moore watched the river ferry
all Monday night and leaving early
next morning leaving Oscar Stewart
to keep watch for him. About an
hour later he came along and was
arrested and brought and placed in
'i:lil, He denies the stealing and
says the horse was turned over to
’hnn at Waycross to carry to Miami,
Fla.
