Jones-Denkins Marriage
The marriage Sunday morning
of Miss Lucy Jores and Mr. Ruth
Denkins, at the residence of Mr.
H. G. Gibson, was the happy con
summation of an event that their
many friends have been looking
forward to for some time. Ruth
is an employe of the Georgia-
Florida Investment Co., at the
Paxton plfle, and they have built
him a lovely little bungalow to
start out on the journey through
life in. Miss Jones is the accom
plished daughter of Mr. and -Mrs.
Bob Jones, of Traders Hill. Theirj
many friends are wishing them
many happy days, and so does the
Herald, as they are splendid young
people.
Folkston Win over Jax
The locu! basket ball team from
Folkston met the Viassey Business
College team at the Y. M. C. A
court in Jacksonville, Satarday
evening, winning 34 to 23,
The individual score of eur team
were:—Rayner 14, Mills 15; Banks
0; Alien, L, 6; Gowen, D. 0. Hall
substi‘uted for Rayner, who was
put out of the game. A few loyal
booster went with them,

Harris for his able supervision of
the county scheols during the past
four yeais. For his unsel.ish co
operation with every worthy pro
ject that has presented itself dur
ing his term of office; for the sin

the B.Y.P. U, which, beginning
with Monday night, will inaugurate
a week of study. All of the young
people of the church are expected
to take advantage of this splendid
movement for their spiritual good.
With their plans maturing to
