Special Sermon Sunday.
Sunday being the fifth Sunday
of the month, an unscheled service
for the day, Brether Nease has an
nounced the beginning of a seriee
of sermons on “Tithing,” The
first on Sunday morning. This is
a subject that is interesting and
it is hoped ali will avail themselves
of the opportunity so hear him. ‘

wallis, of the Albany police, by a
dischargea policeman, R. O. \'el-{
ton, occzred Tuesdsv morning, re
sulting in his death: Melton com
mitted suiciae nght afterwards.
Mr, Wallis 1s the father of Mrs. L,
W, Walker, formerly of Folkston.

sionary Society meeting Monday
afternoon at the church, Mrs. J P.
Garrison was leader, this baing
the . rist time sbehas lead us, bow
ever h.s had experience in the so
ciety work. She had prepared
the lesson and carricd out the
programmn a most interesting
manner. The subject was “"World
Missionary, Movement” and proved
intensely in‘eresting, A chain ot
prayers closed the program.
Mrs. Banks then took charge ufl
the business session and tnere was
inceed a large amount of business
to be discussed, chief among
which was the organization of our
society in circles. Mrs. Woud filly
explamned the work in circles; all
were enthused over_the prospect
of using circles hereafter as the
society had increased in members
and we were ready to expand.

50th anniversary of organized Bap
tist Mission work in Georgia.
