The velvet bean has come into great commercial importance, especially in south Georgia where it is extensively grown with corn. It increases llve-vf stock possibilities, and when grain and pod are ground together Is offered as a valuable feed upon the market. During recent months several public sales of purebred livestock have been made in Georgia.
