Wood, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Morris were in Atlanta Thursday. Miss Nannie Love Selman is visiting in Atlanta this week. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Almand of 'Conyers, are visiting relatives ■here. Jim Estes of Fairburn, was a Douglasville visitor Tuesday. We are sorry to learn that Col, E. B. McWhorter is quite sick, Mrs. Frank Wilson is reported sick this week. We are glad to report R. S. Estes improving this week. ,1. J. Kirby left Wedneday for Ft Valley on an extended business trip. Dr Read of Bill Arp w as in Douglasville Wednesday. An epidemic of measles is re ported in the McWhorter section Col. and Mrs, Aslor Merritt were Atlanta visitors Tuesday. Ben Turner, a prominent citi zen of Lithia Springs section, was a pleasant visitor at the Sentinel office this week. There will be a special meet ing of Royal Arch Chapter Tues day, Feb. 20th, for degree work. All members urged to attend. R. H. McKinney has given up the Boatright Hotel and L. E. Roberts has again taken charge of it. Prof. J. T. Reese and daugh ter, Miss Eleanor, of Fair Play, were in Douglasville Wednes day. Mrs J. M. Abercrombie of Tucker Ga. visited relativ es here last week. Col. J. R Hutcheson is look ing after the State s interest at Dallas Superior court this week. Ihe D. D. Club met at the home of Misses Edith and Lil lian Dake Monday afternoon. Sewing was the usual pastime, after which refreshments of fruit and candy were served. The club will hold its next meet ing with Miss Opal Duncan next Monday afternoon. Mrs. Z. T. Dake is reported to be dojng nicely at the Cheston King Sanitarium. Miss Frankie Bridwell of At lanta spent the week end with home folks. Mrs, Hattie Mae Parson and tvo children left Saturday for C.iiekasha, Okla., where they wid join Mr. Parson. “—ft .
