DOUGLAS COUNTY SENTINEL, DOUGLASVILLE, GEORGIA. Social and Personal Ar hur Henslee of Villa Rica, was here Wednesday. Little Julia Baggett has mea sles this week. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Burson spent Sum ay here with relatives. Mrs. R. E. Hamilton was a "Villa Rica visitor this week. Little Virginia Duncan is quite sick with pneumonia this week. Miss Ltrcy Belle Duke of Kirk wood, was the week end guest of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Burton. Mrs. J. M. Bovd spent the week end with friends at Villa Rica. Col. and Mrs. Astor Merritt spent the week end with relatives at Bremen. Miss Jennie Smith visited friends in Villa Rica the past week end. Rev B. F. Wright of Williams burg, Ky., is a guest of his daughter, Mrs. C. V. Vansant, Mrs. R. Y. McCarley is re ported quite sick again this week. Miss Ruth Sellman came home from Shorter College for the week end. Mr, and Mrs. J. M. SHman of Atlanta, spent the week end here with relu ives. Born Monday to Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Foster, a nine pound daughter. Our merchants enjoyed a good trade S turday—the only pretty Saturday in two months. Mayor V. R. Tmith and L. 0. McKelvey motored to Atlanta Tuesday. Coy Hall of Villa Rica, spent Saturday night with his brother, H. G. Hall. The young people enjoyed a ivio&tdelightful evening-Saturday at the home of Mr, and Mrs, Frank Burton. Mrs. J. H. McLarty has re turned from a visit with her son, Prof. Ray McLarty, at Union Point. Mr. and Mrs. Sparks and daughter, Miss Eunice, of Ben Hill, were recent visitors of Mr, and Mrs. J. R. Holland. Mrs. D. P. Eu son lias returned home after spending several days in Atlanta with her daughter, Mrs. J. H, Lane. * Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wilson of Marietta, spent Sunday here with Mrs, Wilson’s mother, Mrs. C. P. McKelvey. Mrs. H. M. Hudson and little son Herbert, of Detroit, Mich., spent a‘ few days last week the guests of Mrs. M. E. Hud on. The Twelfth Division I. 0. 0. F., is in session here this week with quite a number of visitors from other towns. Mrs. G C. Matthews left this week for Jacksonville, Fla,, to join Mr. Matthews, who has ac cepted a position there with the Southern Express Co. Mr. W. H. Johnson of Marri- etta, Rt 4, was a pleasant caller at the Sentinel office this week, Mr, Johnston is a former citizen of this town, having built the house' where J. W. McKinley now lives.
