Born Friday to Mr. and Mrs. 0. A. Selman, a daughter. ’Miss Eddie Mae Morris spent the week end in Atlanta, Mrs. N. 3. Duncan spent Tues day in Atlanta. Mrs. Ottis Selman is reported quite sick. Col. Boykin of Carrollton, was here Tuesday. Miss Nannie Love Selman spent several days in Atlanta last week. Little Miss Virginia Duncan is / steadily improving, we ’.are glad to say.. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carden of Gounty Line spent Sunday here with relatives. Col, Spink of Dallas was among the visiting attorneys here this week. Prof. J. T. Reese of McWhor ter, was a Sentinel visitor Wed nesday. W. H. Malone, of Villa Rica, was a guest of his daughter, Mrs. R. E. Hamilton Sunday. ' Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Brooks and family of Villa Rica, spent Sun day with W. D. Styles and fami ly. Friends of Mrs. Z. T. Dake will be glad to know she is im proving in health and will be able to return home soon. The Senior class will 'give a play, "Miss Fearless & Co,” on the night of April 2nd at 7:45, at the School Auditorium. Mr. and Mrs. T, A, Upshaw of Villa Rica, are guests this week of Col. and Mrs. D. S. Strickland. Miss Nell Smith, who is teach ing in Carroll county, spent Sun day with home folks. She 'was accompanied by her cousin, Miss Ozel Camp. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sellman and Misses Morgan and Nannie Love V Selman motored to Atlanta Mon- d <y night to see "Fair and Warmer.” Judge Bartlett, and Judge Moses Wright of Rome, have made an exchange for the re- v' mainder of this week, owing to the fact that both have cases in which they are disqualified. W. C. Burnett of Winston, made the Sentinel office a pleas ant visit this week. G. W. Griffith closed out his grocery business this week, Mrs. Nat Mozely is reported quite sick this week. Dr. and Mrs. D. Houseworth were in Atlanta last Friday. While at court don’t forget to hand us what you owe us on sub scription. Hon. W. I. Dorris is in Atlanta this week helping to make Geor gia "Bone Dry.” Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Hall had as their guests Sunday, Mrs, W. J. Hall of Vilia Rica, Mr. and MrS. V. B. Aiken of Aberdeen and Charley and Miss Cumie Aiken of Bremen. Mayor V. R. Smith entertained Governor Catts of Florida, at a luncheon at the Piedmont Hotel last Friday. Hon. L. C. Up shaw, Ex-Mayor Edwards, Rev. J. C Atkinson and the Sentinel Editor were also guests of Mayoi Smith on this occasion.
