Upshaw came home from Locust Grove for the week end. Miss Rose Abercrombie of Agnes Scot, spent the week end at home. Miss Mildred Selman of De catur, spent Sunday here with relatives. Mrs. Laura Cooper of Toccoa, is visiting her neice, Mrs. J. M, Whitley. Mrs. P. D. Selman and Miss Nannie Love Selman were in Atlanta Tuesday. Mis3 Ethel Winn has returned home after a successful term of teaching at Oak Grove. J. H. Gable of Route3, made the Sentinel office a pleasant vis- it|this week. J. G. Rivers of Glenwood, Ga., writes us: “I am sending you check for $1.50 for my paper. Please keep it coming. I love Douglas county people and am always glad to hear from them.” The Senior class of D. MissEthelene Sands, teacher of Holly Springs school, left on No. 40 Friday for her horns at Chipley, While here Miss Sands made many friends who regret to see her leave, but give their wishes for her a very pleasant vacation. Mrs. J. W. House went to Davis-Fischer Sanitarium Tues day for an operation. Her many friends wish for her an early and complete restoration to health.
