Webb of route 4 was a pleasant caller at the Sentinel office Monday. A. E; Renfroe of route one made the Sentinel office a pleas ant visit Monday. Mrs. J. W. House is expected homes from the Sanitarium the .last of this week. Mr. and Mrs, E. C. Perkins of Atlanta, visited Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Almand last Sunday. Miss Mary Peace spent last V week in McDonough with her brother, W. H. Peace. Mrs. W. H. Peace of Mc Donough, is a guest of Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Peace. Mrs. McKinney of Atlanta, is a guest of her sister, Mrs. 0. T. Selman. Douglasville turned out in , force Thursday to see the open ing ball game in Atlanta. Miss Rose Abercrombie came over from Agnes Scott to attend the Peterson funeral. / Col. J. R. Hutcheson attended amotion term of Haralson Su perior court at Buchanan this week. Mrs. Sarah Morris, Supt. of the Dublin Sanitarium, was here to attend the funeral of Mr. Peterson Tuesday. City Marshall McGouirk has had a force hauling rubbish this we.sk and some of the “eyesore places in town look better. Mrs. J. S. Hamilton and Mr. -and Mrs. A. B. Bagwell of Villa Rica, visited Dr. and Mrs. R. E. Hamilton the first of the week. There will be a meeting of the Bord of Trade Friday night. Everybody come. There will be business of importance and probably cigars or lemonade. Roy James and Walter Brown, two of our boys who have been on the border, came home for a ' few days last week. Mrs- Z. T. Dake will return home this week, after more than two months at the GheSton King Sanitarium. Her health is very much improved. Mrs. J. L. Perkins and little daughter, Virgie May, and Miss Mary Barber left Tuesday morn ing for High Point, jn. C., to spend several weeks. A Chapter of the order of the Eastern Star was organized here last Tuesday night with 30 chap ter members Next Tuesday night it will be constituted. The officers elected are as follows: Mrs. D. House worth, Worthy Matron, Mrs. Thad McKoy, Worthy Patron, and Mrs. F. M. Stewart, Associate Matron.
