OLDFIELD AND PALMA
RACE IN ATLANTA JULY 28
Atlanta is to have a great automo
bile racing classic this year, as Bar
ney Oldfield, master driver of the
world, and Ralph De Palma, idol of
the speed saucers* will meet there in
three racing duels of 25, 15 and 10
miles next Saturday afternoon, July
28, at the Southeastern Fair Grounds, j
to decide the world’s dirt track chain-.
pionship.
The Atlanta clash of these bitter .
enemies of the racing realm will be ;
the third and final one In a series of j
three match-races. Barney defeated j
his Italian rival at Milwaukee two
weeks ago, and Ralph made Oldfield
eat his dust at Detroit July Fourth.
Both would sacrifice almost anything
to vanquish the other in this last meet
ing which will crown a new dirt track
champion, and racing fans all over the
country are looking for sensational de
velopments when the pair of speed
kings meet in Atlanta next Saturday.

September has been selected as
the time for starting the revival,
after which there will be steps
taken to organize a church. We
trust this will meet with the
hearty approval of everybody
concerned.
The selective draft has hit the
Lois Mill pretty heavy, several
of the boys having been selected.
Did it ever occur to us what
we are worth to the community
as a citizen? Would it not be a
pretty good idea to drive our
Flivver to some quite spot and
sit down on the moss covered
bank of a bubbling stream and
commune with ourselves?. Do
we attend Sunday school and
church and do we contribute to
the support of the same? Do
we take pride in the civic ad
vancement of our town and com
munity? If we do these things
we are very desirable citizens
and it we do not we are traitors
and should be interned.

CALOMEL IS MERCURY! IT SICKENS!
ACTS ON LIVER LIKE DYNAMITE
“Dodson’s Liver Tone” Starts Your Liver
Better Than Calomel and Doesn't
Salivate or Make You Sick.
Listen to me l Take no more sick
ening. salivating calomel when bilious or
constipated. Don’t Iobo a day’s work!
Calomel i.i mercury or auicksilver
which cuuscs necrosis of the bones.
Calomel, when it comes into contact
with sour bile crashes into it, breaking,
it up. This is when you feel that awful
nausea and cramping. If you are slug
gish and “all knocked out,” if your
liver is torpid and bowels constipated
or you have headache, dizziness, coated
tongue, if breath is bad or stomach sour
just take a spoonful of harmless Dod
son’s Liver Tone on my guarantee.
Here’s my guarantee—-Go to any drug
store and get a 50 cent bottle of Dod
son’s Liver Tone. Take a spoonful to
night and if it doesn’t straighten you
right up and make you feel fine nnd
vigorous by morning I want you to go
hack to the store and get your money.
Dodson’s Liver Tone is destroying the
sale of calomel because it is real liver
medicine; entirely vegetable, therefore it
can not salivate or make you sick.
I guarantee that one spoonful of Dod
son’s Liver Tone Will put your ^luggisli
liver to work and clean your bowels of
that sour bile and constipat'd waste
which is clogging your system and mak
ing you feel miserable. I guarnnteo that
a bottle of Dodson’s Liver Tone will
keep your entire family feeling line for
months. Give it to your children. It is
harmless; doesn’t gripe and they like its
pleasant taste.
