Born last Saturday to Mr, and Mrs. T. H.'James, a little girl-, who stayed buta few hours with them then God took it to Him self in heaven. Everybody seemed to be in the scrap iron business last Sat urday. We notice that the first draw got-C. E. Mozley, T. A. Winters and Guy Hendi ix. Wi H. Gore has South Georgia fever and says he is thinking of making that his future borne, C. L. Hood made a week’s stay in South Georgia and says he must move, there another year. He is well pleased with all ap pearances of the coutnry and thinks it is the place re farm. Z. T. Mozley of Sand Moun tain, is visiting in this part. Mr, Mozley was once a citizen of this county and is well known here. Miss Climmie James was an Atlanta visitor last week. . School began last Monday with a fine crowd of pupils. Hubert Moody has accepted a pasiti^n in East Point. Mrs. H. A. James left Friday for an extended visit with rela tives at Marietta. Miss Addie Irwin of Atlanta, spent last week as the guest of Miss Climmie James. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Renfroe and Misses Thelma. Addie and Ruby attended the birthday din ner ar. Campbell give - ! by 'Aunt Hulda Diggs, it being her 8Sth birthday. Among otherb attend ing were Mr. and Mrs. Charley Harbin and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Wallace and family of Atlanta, Mr, and Mrs. .lesse.Me- luire, Mr. and Mrs. II. A. Bo- mar and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Hendley, Mr. and Mrs Lon Renfroe, Mr. and Mrs. H, B. Newborn and Mrs. Elma Baker, 75 people ate of the fine dinner, which was in abundance.
