Miss Ethel Latimer of [Atlanta, spent last week with Miss Opal Duncan. Miss Grace Pate has returned home after a visit to her sister Mrs, Ray McLarty. Miss Grace Howell has re turned home after a visit with Mrs. Sidney Johnston. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Harding of columbus spent the week end here. Miss Olive Balis had as!a week end guest her sister, Mrs. D. M. Kennon, of Atlanta. Miss Annie Jim Patrick and Miss Maude TuckeriJof Conyers, are visiting Mrs. Robt. McKoy Mrs. I. E Huckaby is visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. E. Morris, at Columbia, S. C. ^ Thanks to Mr. J. T. Perkins is expect- Miss Lottie Barber of North Carolina, to arrive this week. Sam Eskew has returned to his home in Texas, after spend ing several days here with rela tives. Mrs. H. Work has begun on the new concrete sidewalk on j;Broad St, i^'It will add greatly to the ap pearance of the town. Douglasville took on city airs Wednesday morning when Car rier J. L.
