In Memoriiun On the 20th of April, 1917, our beloved sister and friend, Mrs. Hammia Pace was called to rest. She was formerly Miss Hammie Smith and was married to B. M. Pace Jan 7, 1897, and joined the Baptist church at Providence, in Campbell county in 1890 and later joined this church and re- maineda member here until her death. The last few months of her life were spent in great suffer ing but she bore it with Christ- tain fortitude. She was wo man of fine character and sweet disposition, loved by all who knew her.. When God’s own time came for Sister Pace to leave us, angels leaving the gates cf heaven reached down and ten derly lifted her up to where heaven’s joys begin and the burdens of earth are laid aside. She leaves a husband, five boys and one girl, Fannie Mae, who waited on her mother ten derly day and night without a murmer. First. Be it resolved that we have lost a sister and a friend, the church a loyal and faithful member, the husband a loving and faithful wife, the children the brighest jewel that earth can give, a devoted mother, and all have lost a friend. Second. That we extend to the bereaved family our deepest sympathy. Third. That a copy of this memorial be spread upon the minutes and a copV be sent to the family and a copy be sent the Douglas County Sentinel for publication.
