W. C. ABERCROMBIE Atlanta Sept. 12—Will Georgia indorse the proposed prohibition amendment to the constitution of the United Stat s? The United States Senate has passed a resolution submitting to the states a prohibition amend ment, and the national hou-e of representatives is expec ed to pass the resolution not later than December, which will then make it ready for action by the various state legislatures. Meanwhile, under the auspices of the Anti-Saloon League of America in co-operation with the leagues of the state, a nation wide campaign will be waged for thejadoption of the amendment, which required the endorsement of thirty-six state legislatures to become apart of the federal con stitution. In Georgia the ctmpaign will be launched this week and will run through November 19, with more than 350 meetings address ed by some of the most promi nent prohibition campaigners in the country.
