By request of Pray’s church, io beomes our sad duty to write this obituary of si jter Julia Mur phy, wife of G VV. B. Murphy, vho departed this life July 7, 1917. Sue was born- March 7,1838, ind married October 8, 1872 * Sister Murphy joined th" Methodist church at the age cf ifteen years, and afterwards joined the Missionary Baptist church in 1889. She lived a consistent member, ilways attending church as long as she was physically able. Shewasatiue and affection ate wife and mother who leaves >ne son to mourn her death, but we trust heaven is brighter and richer by her loving spirit. We extend to the bereaved family our heartfelt sympathy and commend them to God with their sorrows, for He alone can heal the wound.
