We recommend that G. W. Abercrombie be appointed as a mem
ber of the Board of Education of Douglas County to fill the
\acuu<-.y eaused bv the resignation of W. K. Burnett; also recom
mend that E. Y. Hendrix be appointed N. P. for the 784th District
to fill the unexpired term of J. M, Whitley, deceased.
We recommend that the same per diem, $2.00 per day, be
paid to the grand and the traverse jurors and bailiffs for the
ensuing year.
We also recommend that the Sheriff be paid 70c per day per
head for feeding prisoner?. , .
We also recommend that sign boards with fingers pointed, show
ing way for tourists, be placed at each cross and fork load in the
county.
We recommend that this report be published in our county paper
and that the editor be paid $20.00 for the same.
