Twenty-seven members were present and an exceptionally good pr gram was rendered. As one of the chief topics for the evening was “Love of Coun try,” a iiood part of the evening was devoted to patriotic song and readings. .Some very interesting letters were read from the first non of the American Expeditionary Force to set foot on French soil, and a vocal duett, “Somewhere in France is Daddy,” was enjoy ed by all, We are mere than glad to kn w that the young people of the! town are manifesting so much interest in the worn of the soci-1 etv, and that the .enthusiasm 1 grows with each meeting.
