Union Thanksgiving services
sounds good. In union there is
strength and there should cer

no place in any work thaL is for
the good of humanity.
At no time has the war con

France are everlastingly lam

are seldom heard from.
Dry Washington
It will be a dry Washington
to which the Georgia prohibi
tionists will go when they go to
the national capital in December
to attend the great convention of
the Anti Saloon League of Amer
ica which meets there on the 10th
to the 13th of the month, James
A. Christian, superintendent of
the Georgia Anti-Saloon League,
with headquarters in Atlanta,
states that the delegates from
thij state will be one of the most
representative 1 in the country.
The primary object of the mon
ster rally is to work for the
passage by the national house of
the prohibition amendment to
the federal constitution, which
has already passed the senate.
Child Dead
A sad death occurred last
Thursday when little Willie, the
little five-year-old year son of
Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Hollis, died
of membranous croup.
The funeral occurred at the
Methodist church Friday, Rev.
J. B. Tallant conducting the sjr-
vices.
The bereaved family has the
sympathy of a host of friends.

THE GOOD SAMARITAN.
From Jerusalem to Jericho
Upon the great highway,
A lonely, wounded traveler,
In pain and anguish lav.
Thieves had robbed and be^it him
And left him there to die,
And none were n.p.r to offer aid
Or hear his feeble cry.
From Jerusalem to Jericho
The Priest and Levite went,
In goodly robe and velvet gown,
On holy mission bent;
They saw the wounded traveler,
They heard him as he cried,
For each, altho they pitied him,
Passed on the other side.
From Jerusalem to Jericho
In humble garments clad.
There came a good Samaritan,
Who love and mercy 1 al.
He knelt beside the traveler,
He gave him friendly aid.
And from his scanty purse he
For care and shelter paid.
From Jerusalem to Jericho
We travel every day,
And many are the wounded ones
That lie along the way.
Are you a good Samaritan,
Whose love is warm and wide,
Or do you like the holy ones
Pass on the other sids ?

BOB GIVES YOU MORE
103 YOUR MONEY
You’ve all seen the shops in every
city where fifty-fifty is the policy.
Fifty per cent for the clothing and
fifty per cent for the name. That’s-
some business.
I don’t do that here and I am just
as proud of everything I show, such
as overcoats, suits, neckwear,
shirt-, hats, etc., as any merchant
in thr- world. I know they are good
and that every cent you pay for
them gets its full value.
That’s the reason why my busi
ness increases from season to sea
son. That’s why men invarably
come back the second and the third
time. That’s why l am proud of
this business.
And by the way, men, those$25.00
suits and overcoats I sell give you
more for your money than lots of
others I have seen that sell at as" JtlSt Bob
much as $10.00 more.
