Up shaw discuss the issues of the ’war and other national questions on the stump in joint debate? Senator Hardwick declined the challenge on the ground that he tes mot started his campaign, campaign, and was only making "Stewardship” speeches in Mil ieu and Moultrie, where his utterances were of such a nature asito bring the invitation from ttfce famous Atlanta editor and testa rer who was the first to enter the lists against him. Sen ator Hardwick stated, however, that he would be willing to meet any and all comers later on, and EkSRor Upshaw Is waiting the Cflacewith keen interest. ing were present, with several of the grandchildren, as follows: Mrs. Stella Her rod and children of Douglasville Rt 2; Clyde Mor tis ami wife.
