herewith submit our general pre
sentments.
Through our various committees
we have examined the books of
the county officials, and their re
ports are hereto attached and
made a part of these presentments,
and marked eexhibits “A,” “B,”
“C,” “D,” “E," “F,” “H,” and
“I.” ,
We recommend that. Fred Ader-
hold be appointed to succeed him
self as N. P. for 730th disarict.

for 1272nd district: W. D. Ruther
ford 1 , 1273rd district.
We recommend that otir County
Commissioners issue warrants to
cover the amount, of tax Fifas
against our soldier boys who were
called into the service of our coun
try in the great world war, inas
much as they gave their services
for our defence we thin'k our
home people will cheerfully con
cur in this recommendation.
The body visited the pauper
farm in a body. We find every
thing in a sanitary, condition. We
recommend that the well at the in
mates’ house be fixed in a sani
tary condition at 6nce by fixing
good curb around same, and some
repairs be made on the house, es
pecially the house at the negro
quarters that is unoccupied,
which he recovered at onee. We
find there are five' inmates and
they express themselves as being

jurors and court bailiffs be paid
three dollars per diem.

Atlanta, 'Sept. 30 — Arrange
ments are being made to use the
schools and churches of Atlanta to
house visitors attending the Con
federate veterans’ reunion, Which
occurs in Atlanta on-October 7, 8,
9, and 10. It is planned to accom
modate most of the veterans them
selves in private homes, although
some of them will be quartered in
tnts in Pidmont- Park. The gov
ernment has provided hundreds of
regulation army tents and these
are now being erected,' A huge
dining tent and several field
kitchens are also being erected at
the park- The re.union committee
has asked for the use of the schools
and churches dpring the week in
order that accommodations for the
100,00 or more visitors may be
furnished without difficulty. 1
