reoord In organisation and Interest, the
leaders of the Baptist 76 Million Cam
paign, both from the central office In
Nashrllle and from the Georgia head
quarters in Atlanta, declare that this
state bids fair to go to ten million
dollars when thei week of canvass for
funds arrives.
Dr. L. R. Scarborough, general direc
tor of the campaign for the Southern
Baptist Convent.on, has Just made a
tour of the state and he has expressed
his delight with the progress that he
has met on every hand In Georgia.

There are 1,71)1) churches organized
in Georgia. This represents the
work of the pust two months of end
less effort to get the 325,000 Buptista
of Georgia organized for the big move
ment. There are 51 associations or
ganized and- by the end* of this week
it is expected that there will be above
70.
October is Enlistment Month. This
Is the month when the plan of the
campaign anticipates the definite de
cision of thousands of heretofore inac
tive church members to take a per
manent part of the program of Chris
tian service. It is regarded > as one
of the moat significant periods of the
campaign.
There is an Increased need for mis
sionaries following the opening of eo
many doors in Europe and Asia, and
young men and women in Oeorgla are
turning their faces to these world op
portunities of service. There is a
need for ChriUian doctors In this and
other countries to. carry a message of
healing and service and young men
from Georgia are asking for appoint-
inent.
