DOUGLAS, COUNTY SENTINEL, DOUGLASVILLE GEORGIA. FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 1920.
Upshaw Stands
For Re-election
Congressman, W. D. Upshaw 1ms
given to the papers of the fifth dis
trict the following statement:
“Of course I expect to ask for the
indorsement of a second terrr..”
“I naturally counted on the un
broken Democratic custom that has
been observed in the Fifth District for
something like thirty-five years. I
bad supposed that the present repre
sentative would have no opposition for
the second term, if he served the dis
trict faithfully during his firvt. year in
Congress, but if I am to have- oppo
sition it will not deter me from my
purpose to stand for re-election, for
the next term. 1 believe that the
files of my office will show as many
items of practical business efficiently
attended to as any representative of
this district has ever put behind him
during his first year in Washington.
Having worked hard to be a good con
gressman, I hardly believe the people
of my district will count it fair to
thrust one new man aside for another
new man- when everybody believes I
have done my best.
I confidently expect the indorse
ment of the people of this district.”

It Always Helps
say* Mrs. Sylvania Woods, of Clifton Mills, Ky., In
writing of her experience with Cardul, the woman’s
tonic. She says further: “Before 1 began to use
Cardui, my back and head would hurt so bad, I
thought the pain would kill me. I was hardly able
to do any of my housework. After taking three bottles
of Cardui, I began to feel like a new woman. I soon
gained 35 pounds, and now, I do all my housework,
as well as run a big water mill.
I wish every suffering woman would give

a trial. I still use Cardu: when I feel a little bad,
and it always does me good."
Headache, backache, side ache, nervousness,
tired, worn-out feelings, etc., are sure signs of woman
ly trouble. Signs that you need Cardui, the womah’^
tonic. You cannot make a mistake in trying Cardui
for your trouble. It has been helping weak, ailing
women for more than fifty years.
