weevil is destroyed within the next
two weeks, according to J. J. Brown,
commissioner of agriculture, who has
returned to Atlanta after a state tour.
Commissioner Brown said he had
been told by entomologists that if a
weevil is killed immediately after it
comes out of hibernation it will mean
the prevention of ravages by 12,000,-
000 weevils that could have been bred
later in the season.
